Student, Resident and Fellow Program

 

Full-time students, residents and fellows will continue to enjoy a discounted registration fee to attend the 26th Annual MAD-ID Meeting.

A limited number of $500 grants for students and trainees are available on a first come, first-serve basis. In addition, the grant recipient will receive complimentary registration to the 26th Annual

MAD-ID Meeting.

Travel Grants for Students and Trainees

 

The requirements to be awarded grant assistance are as follows:

​

1. Only abstracts presenting completed work are eligible, research-in-progress submissions do not qualify for a grant.

2. Applicant must be in a full-time training program (residency or fellowship) or a full-time student. No more than 2 awards may be given to a training program (residents, fellows, or college students)

3. Applicant must be the first author and must present the poster on Thursday, May 9th from 5:00 - 6:30PM at the Scientific Poster Session and Reception.

4. Applicant must reside more than 50 miles one-way from Orlando, FL.

5. Applicant must agree to attend the entire meeting from Wednesday May 8th at 4:00 PM to Saturday, May 11th at 12:30 PM.

6. Applicant must book their hotel accomodations at the Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate (MAD-ID Headquarters hotel)..

 

Note(s):

-No more than two awards may be given to a training program (residents, fellows or college students).

-Both encore and original submissions may receive the grant, however preference is given to original submissions/presentations.
