The 24th Annual MAD-ID Meeting, The Antimicrobial Stewardship Meeting® will take place May 18-21, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

Pharmacists, physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers will be given the opportunity to participate in this three-and-a-half-day educational program specifically designed to develop competency and help learners translate recent research and guidelines to patient care and antimicrobial stewardship while earning pharmacy (CPE) or medical (CME) continuing education credit.

MAD-ID is an approved provider of continuing pharmacy education and automatically reports to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. MAD-ID is also accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. Find full accreditation information here.


MAD-ID is looking forward to hosting a full in person meeting; but as fellow healthcare clinicians, we take the safety and health of our community seriously.  We will follow all CDC guidance for event planning, and also the Hyatt Regency guidance for safety.

Please also note that attendees, speakers and staff shall not attend our meeting with a confirmed case of COVID-19.  We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance in the event you need to cancel.

Additionally, attendees and staff shall not attend the meeting on any day when experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, runny nose, nausea or vomiting.  All attendees who experience symptoms associated with COVID-19 while attending our meeting are required to immediately discontinue their participation in the conference and are encouraged to immediately seek medical care.  Attendees with these symptoms should isolate and consider testing.

MAD-ID speakers who are unable to attend due to a confirmed case will be able to either provide their presentation virtually or a replacement speaker will be selected to present.  A full refund will be provided to all attendees who provide proof of a confirmed case of COVID-19.

Registrants who discontinue their participation in the conference after becoming ill on site will receive a partial refund of any registration fees paid.  Please email MAD-ID at should you no longer be able to participate onsite and require a partial refund. Please note, refunds will be processed after the conference, no earlier than June 5, 2022.  Attendees must follow all local rules regarding COVID-19 as they apply to quarantine and travel.
