CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
You are invited by the MAD-ID Scientific Advisory Committee to submit your abstract for consideration for presentation in poster format at the 2018 Annual Meeting. The submission deadline is Monday, April 2, 2018. All abstracts concerning Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy are welcome. Posters remain on display for the duration of the conference, and the abstracts will be printed in the meeting materials. There is a poster session for all participants on Thursday, May 10, 2018. If your poster is accepted, you (or a registered representative who you assign) must be present at this poster session to answer questions regarding your abstract.
The poster display boards accommodate a maximum poster size of 8 feet wide x 4 feet tall. Recommended poster sizes are 8 feet x 4 feet (243cm x 121cm) or 7 feet x 3.5 feet (212cm x 106cm). Push pins are provided.
Please submit your abstract by completing the abstract form below and submitting via the website portal by Monday, April 2, 2018.
Instructions for submitting an abstract to MAD-ID using the link below:
1. Enter names of all authors in the order in which they should appear on the published abstract
2. Enter affiliation (organization, department, city, state, country)
3. Either type or cut and paste (.doc format only; no .docx or .pdf) your abstract text into the text/abstract box
a. Abstract should be organized with the following headings: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
b. Abstracts should be 1900 characters or less (including encore presentations)

Travel Grants for Students and Trainees:
A limited number of $750.00 travel grants are available, on a first-come, first-serve basis to health professional students, residents and fellows who have submitted a highly rated abstract that has been accepted for presentation. Original presentations will be given preference. Only abstracts presenting completed work are eligible. Awardee must be first author and is expected to personally present the poster and to attend the entire meeting. Trainees residing within 50 miles of the meeting venue are not eligible. No more than 2 travel grants will be awarded to the same training program (residents or fellows) or college (students).
