Accreditation Information



MAD-ID is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as the provider of continuing pharmacy education.

MAD-ID automatically reports to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy via CPE Monitor. For Florida Consultant Pharmacists, we will report portions of the program that are approved for CE credit to CE broker. Florida pharmacists (general license) will have CE credit awarded to EITHER CE broker OR NABP via CPE monitor.

The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing education for physicians.


This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirement and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) and MAD‐ID. NFID is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. NFID designates this enduring material for a maximum of
17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits). MAD-ID will award a maximum of 18 hours (1.8 CEU) for pharmacists.

All grievances regarding any aspect of a sponsored or cosponsored program should be brought to the attention of a Continuing Education Director, Jean Nappi, PharmD, nappijm@mad-id.org (Pharmacy) OR Sara Haywood, CMP, shaywood@nfid.org (Medicine).

Continuing  Education (CPE or CME) Credit will be awarded upon your evaluation of attended sessions. Your earned CPE credit will be automatically reported to NABP/ACPE through the CPE Monitor system.
