Hotel, Travel & Shuttle
There are several hotels in the Orlando area close to the MAD-ID hotel and we understand the inclination to look for the best rates. In order to help MAD-ID keep registration costs down and quality programming high, we have a special room block at the Caribe Royale.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Caribe Royale from May 10-12, 2012 at a negotiated rate of $145 single/double occupancy plus 12.5% tax. Rooms are available at the MAD-ID group rate until April 9, 2012 (or sooner if room block is filled prior to that date).
After April 9th, rooms are subject to the prevailing rate
Please support MAD-ID by making your hotel reservation at the Caribe Royale and experience the convenience of staying at the MAD-ID headquarters hotel. and availability at the hotel. Please book your room early to secure your reservation. All room reservations require a one-night’s deposit by check, money order or valid credit card. Individual guest cancellations will be accepted up to 3 days prior to arrival. Please note that your registration fee does not cover your incidental expenses or expenses of a spouse or guest, including their travel, hotel room or meals. All meal functions are for the program participants only. Should your spouse or guest wish to join you for meals, please contact mad-id@agcomm.com.

MAD-ID Annual Meeting attendees are responsible for their own airfare and ground travel arrangements.
The Caribe Royale is located just 20 minutes from the Orlando Airport. Shuttle service can be arranged through Mears Transportation for a special roundtrip rate of $31.00 per person. The approximate wait time for a shuttle is 30 minutes.
Upon arrival at Orlando Airport, please proceed to the Mears Transportation Counter located on Level 1 (Ground Transportation Floor), next to the Budget and Avis car rental counters. The Mears customer service number is 407.423.5566.

Reservations upon arrival are not required but you do need to make return reservations. Please see the concierge desk at the hotel. If you choose to take a taxi, please be advised that the average cost is approximately $50.00 one way.
